“Turn your Thanksgiving leftovers into a delightful and enjoyable experience with Thanksgiving Leftovers In a Blanket. It’s a simple and fun way to make the most of your holiday meal remnants.”

I realize Thanksgiving is tomorrow.

BUT! Let’s be real……Thanksgiving is more about the leftovers than actual Thanksgiving dinner. Am I right?

If you think about it for a second, Thanksgiving is the only day of the year when the entire country gets on the meal-prepping train. Could you imagine if we did this type of cooking 24/7? Okay, that might be overkill because I do love my carry-out from the local Thai place over the weekend.

So, let’s stay focused and put those leftovers to work!

A bowl of food on a plate, with Thanksgiving Leftovers

What are Thanksgiving Leftovers In a Blanket?

Basically is when you take all your leftovers like stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce, and gravy, and layer them on some buttery crescent dough. Then you roll the leftovers up kind of like wrapping them in a “blanket” and then you bake to reheat and enjoy!

Basic Thanksgiving In a Blanket Ingredients:

A bowl of food on a plate, with Thanksgiving Leftovers

Mashed Potatoes + Stuffing + Turkey + Cranberry Sauce + Gravy

More options:

Mashed Potatoes + Sweet Potato Casserole + Turkey + Cranberry Sauce + Gravy

Mashed Potatoes + Creamed Corn + Turkey + Gravy

Mashed Potatoes + Stuffing + Green Bean Casserole + Cranberry Sauce + Gravy

What kind of crescent rolls do you use?

You can certainly make your own. HOWEVER. I highly recommend getting the store-bought package. BUT! Get the grand and flakey kind because you need extra real estate when assembling and the regular crescent rolls aren’t big enough.

Do you have to layer the ingredients inside a crescent roll?

Nope! This is just an easy and fun way to reheat. You could certainly kick it old school by making those delightful and delicious leftover turkey sandwiches!
